The prayer is being supported with a monthly prayer briefing that is sent to every church involved and individuals signed up to pray for the region. You can get onto the list for the emailings, or simply download the prayer briefing from the web site each month.

Email prayer@tfh.org.uk to get the emailings or click here for the prayer briefings.

Now churches have once again committed to praying together throughout 2010. Each church, or sometimes pairs or groups of churches taking a week and passing the baton on for the next week. Starting with a launch event on January 2nd at the Hope Centre in Aintree - already churches have booked in to cover 44 of the weeks in the year., with just a few gaps to be filled in the summer.

...the prayers of the
saints went up before
God...

Revelation 8:4

The goal of TFH Prayer is to encourage  the prayers of the saints. In that respect 2009 wasa great year of prayer in 2009. Over 60 churches have been involved, from practically every denomination, and one week was run by Youth For Christ particularly aimed at young people. One of its strengths has been that from the outset churches were invited to pray in their own way:  that worked out very well.

There have been great outcomes from the year::

It has built up our unity beyond our expectations

People have been saved

It has benefited the churches involved

This year we are using diaries as batons as in 2009. These will be passed from church to church as they change over each week. The diaries will contain many stories of how prayer has been done, what answers there have been, how churches have been blessed and have in turn blessed others, and so on.

Also this year, instead of recording stories on this website, a Facebook group called continuous prayer has been set up where you can upload your photos and videos.and share your stories.
